What is a Thickness Tester?
A thickness tester (or thickness gauge) is a precision instrument that measures the depth or thickness of materials with micron-level accuracy. How Thickness Gauge Works?
The pre-treated thin specimen is placed on the lower measuring surface, and the upper measuring surface, which is parallel to the lower measuring surface and aligned with the center, is dropped onto the other side of the thin specimen with a certain amount of pressure, and the distance between the upper and lower measuring surfaces is automatically detected by the sensor integrated with the measuring head, i.e., it is the thickness of the thin specimen.
